The State of Vermont and
the U.S. Department of Energy provide a home weatherization program for
income eligible households, with priority given to senior citizens or disabled
persons.
The program is run by Northeast
Employment and Training Organization and is available at NO cost to households
that meet income eligibility guidelines.
Services may include home improvements such as adding insulation, installing a water heater jacket,
caulking, weather-stripping and other measures that help control energy costs.
